Volusol recommends this filter to be installed on the primary stain line with all Sysmex machines. This filter greatly decreases the amount of precipitates found on slide smears, even at the end of the bottle. It is recommended to rinse filter with methanol every other bottle rotation. Volusol recommends a new filter every year.
