Acid-Fast Stain Kit with Brilliant Green Counterstain

AFB Kit, prepared according to a modification of the Kinyoun formulation.  Designed for the rapid identification of acid-fast organisms in routine specimens or tissues.  Proprietary stain works at room temperature (no heating required) and yields results in two to three minutes.  Target cells will hold their stain for up to 30 minutes in acid alcohol decolorizing solutions.  This kit works well for the detection of Cryptosporidium
