David Derrick - Chairman

- Faculty at the University of Utah College of Business from 1979 to 1982.
- Major financier and driving force in many new businesses.
- Helped to create the Deer Valley community, an exclusive ski resort outside of Park City, Utah during the early 1980s.
- Founded & funded a company that pioneered the Smart Home concept - the computerized home – in 1985. The company is known as Vantage Systems and is today a leader in this field.
- Mr. Derrick graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance.
James Dalton – Chief Executive Officer
- President of RemoteMDx, Inc. and CEO. of SecureAlert
- Formerly owner and president of Dalton Development, a real estate development company.
- Served as the president and coordinated the development of the Pinnacle project in Deer Valley, Utah, a 86-unit$50 million condominium projec.
- Served as the president and equity owner of Club Rio Mar in Puerto Rico. Club Rio Mar is a 680 - acre beach front property including 500 condominiums, beach club, numerous restaurants, pools and a Fazio-designed golf course.
- Founder and owner of the Deer Valley Club. Mr. Dalton developed a high-end and world-class ski project, including 25 condominiums with ski-in and ski-out feature.
- Served as an officer and director of Biomune Systems, Inc., a public company located in Salt Lake City Held to build the business andwas instrumental in the company’s funding.
Scott Horrocks – President
- Served in several capacities at EDS for more than 20 years and was instrumental in growing EDS’ business and developing technical solutions for multiple customers across the US.
- Designed Medicare systems for multiple state carriers, consolidated systems for multiple banks and savings companies, designed architectures and systems for sales and communications, and lead many teams in design, development and the implementation of applications and systems.
- Known for his role in leading specialized teams in designing and implementing complex solutions that included:
- OnStar system for GM in 1997 (awarded Smithsonian award for transportation
- Utah Solution Centre and growing the staff to over 150 highly specialized employees supporting over 13 different clients
- Led the EDS team at the Veterans Affairs Office of Information in designing and implementing a Health Data Repository collecting healthcare data from more than 128 Veteran’s Affairs medical facilities.
Michael Acton - Chief Financial Officer
- CFO of RemoteMDx
- Served as, chief executive officer of Biomune Systems, Inc. from June 1998 until November 2000, where he also served as principal accounting officer and controller from 1994 to 1997.
- Instrumental in the acquisition of two nutritional product lines that increased sales more than 300 percent.
- Critical role in selling a division of Biomune to a large pharmaceutical company.
- Helped to raise more than $10 million from various institutions and private investors and successfully completed a reverse merger of Biomune Systems, Inc., into a Chicago-based pharmaceutical company.
- More than eight years experience in the public reporting arena; highly familiar with Securities and Exchanges Commission rules and procedures.
- Received a bachelor of science degree and a master of professional accounting degree, both from the University of Utah.
- He is a certified public accountant in the state of Utah.
